Why is the host PC on my VMware Horizon brokered Remote Workstation Solution unable to wake up?

Scenario

When a View Connection Server brokers a workstation connection between a PCoIP Zero Client and a PCoIP Remote Workstation Card, and the host is put into any low power state (sleep, hibernate or shutdown); the client is unable to wake the host and resume the session.

Answer

Power management is not supported in Horizon-brokered Remote Workstation Solutions. The View Connection Server will only establish sessions to host PCs that are powered and running the View Agent. The host PC should not be placed in a low power state
