Why do certain large screen (>27" monitors) dual-link DVI monitors not work with the TERA 2 PCoIP Zero Clients?

Knowledge Base Article Troubleshooting Display Zero Clients

Scenario

When some monitors supporting 2560 x 1600 and 2560 x 1440 resolutions are power cycled with the power switch, the video may not appear when connected to a Tera2 Zero Client via dual-link DVI.

This applies to:

  • Tera2 Zero Clients running firmware 4.0.1
  • HP ZR30W and HP ZR2740W monitors when connected via dual link DVI

Note: The displays work correctly when connected using a Display Port.

 

Workaround

To workaround the user must restart the PCoIP Zero Client.
