Problem

When using PCoIP HP Anyware to connect to Windows 10 running on bare metal (operating system installed directly on the computer with no virtualization), the cursor is not visible.

Cause

When Windows 10 do not detect a locally attached mouse, they hide the cursor in what is known as Tablet mode. This allows Windows to run on tablet devices with the cursor visible to the user.

Resolution

Ensure a mouse is connected to remote workstations using Windows 10 operating systems to enable the cursor icon on the client or local workstation display.

Install 3rd party software that emulates a physical mouse.
