Problem

You are unable to manage a zero client using the HP Anyware PCoIP Management Console 1.x (MC). The event logs reveal the following MCU errors:

LVL:1 RC:-500        MCU :(tera_mcu_read_eeprom_bit): Cannot read from EEPROM, MCU not initialized.
LVL:2 RC:-500        MGMT_CMI :pcoip:getSecondaryStringAttrib called for wakeOnUsbMode - MCU not initialized!
LVL:3 RC:   0          MGMT_CMI :getSecondaryStringAttrib call for wakeOnUsbMode failed because MCU not initialized!
LVL:2 RC:   0          GSOAP :SOAP 1.2 fault: SOAP-ENV:Sender [no subcode]
LVL:2 RC:   0          GSOAP :"getSecondaryStringAttrib call for wakeOnUsbMode failed because MCU not initialized!" Detail: [no

The PCoIP Management Console 1.x queries PCoIP Zero Clients and PCoIP Remote Workstation Cards for information to manage them. If the PCoIP Zero Clients return missing or incomplete information to the Management Console 1.x, the MC will not be able to manage the PCoIP device.

If your zero client has ... MCU not initialized log entries then your PCoIP Zero Client has a hardware problem that is preventing the MC from managing the zero client.

Cause
