What do the PCoIP Session 4-digit error codes mean when experience issues launching Agent in a Remote Workstation?

If you are facing difficulty launching a PCoIP agent in a remote workstation and are receiving a 4-digit error code, then the following table provides the suggested next steps to take.

6002PBP_R_AUTH_FAILED_UNKNOWN_ USERNAME_OR_PASSWORDThe PCoIP agent was unable to authenticate the user.

Check the credential and try again. 

If retry still fails, 

  • Restart the remote workstation and try again. 
  • Install the Agent software again on the remote workstation and try again.
6403PBP_R_ALLOC_FAILED_NO_LICENSEThe PCoIP agent has timed out trying to acquire software license from license server.Check the network connection and verify if License Server is reachable. Then try again.
The PCoIP agent was unable to obtain software licenses because there are no configured license servers.

Register the agent with either one of the following:

  • Registration code  
  • To configure local license URL on the PCoIP Agent machine 
  • Connection manager.
The PCoIP agent was unable to acquire software licenses because there are no licenses available on your cloud license server.Wait for license to become available or to purchase more licenses.
The PCoIP agent was unable to acquire software licenses because there are no licenses available on your local license server.
The PCoIP agent was unable to acquire software licenses because there are no licenses available on your local and cloud license servers.
6405PBP_R_ALLOC_FAILED_TO_ALLOCATE_AGENTThe PCoIP Server failed to send messages to launch the session due to socket related errors.

Try again the PCoIP session. 

If retry still fails, 

  • Restart the remote workstation and try again.  
  • Install the Agent software again on remote workstation and try again.
The PCoIP server failed to start in a timely manner.
The PCoIP server failed to start due to unexpected session state.
The PCoIP server was started but failed during start-up.
The PCoIP agent failed to launch session due to timeout locking workstation for the current user.
The PCoIP agent failed to launch session due to timeout activating SSO.
 Not found in Agent CodeThe PCoIP agent was unable to start session due to undefined error.

Try again the PCoIP session. 

If it failed again, 

  • Restart the remote workstation and try again. 
  • Install the Agent software again on remote workstation and try again.
 Not found in Agent CodeThe PCoIP agent failed to launch session due to missing content in message.

Check that the Connection Manager version is compatible with the Agent version and try again. 

If retry still fails, 

  • reboot remote workstation and try again. 
  • Install the Agent software again on remote workstation and try again.
