What are the supported monitor resolutions and refresh rates for PCoIP Zero Clients and Remote Workstation Cards?

In general, PCoIP zero clients and Remote Workstation cards should work with standard display resolutions supported by VESA.

The following is a list of the tested monitor resolutions supported (display timing); all at 60 Hz display refresh rate.

Dual-link rate:

  • 1792 x 1344
  • 1856 x 1392
  • 1920 x 1440
  • 2560 x 1440 *
  • 2560 x 1600
  • 3440 x 1440 *
  • 3840 x 2160 **

Includes monitor refresh rates generated by a GPU below a display interface clock rate of 300 MHz (below 165 Mhz for Single-link). However there are some limitations.

*Starting with PCoIP Zero Client Firmware Release 5.4.0
The Remote Workstation Card's maximum resolution is 2560x1600.
**Starting with PCoIP Zero Client Firmware 20.01
 Tera2 PCoIP Zero Clients support 3840x2160 (4K UHD) resolution at 15 FPS on attached displays using Display Port interfaces when the changing content is full screen. A video that takes up half of the screen can run at 30 FPS.
