The configured desktop is not in the list of entitled desktops
Scenario
While connecting to VDI Desktop following error is seen:
"The configured desktop is not in the list of entitled desktops"
Cause
This error is not critical and can be seen when Advanced Session Settings in OSD is misconfigured. The error indicates the PCoIP Zero Client is configured to connect automatically to a pool upon authentication to the VMware Horizon View connection server. The error indicates the requested pool was not an option supplied by the VMware Horizon View connection server and the user will be presented with a list of options from the VMware Horizon View connection server.
Resolution
Update the pool name to a valid pool or remove the setting for the user to be prompted to select a pool
- Goto the PCoIP Zero Client OSD Screen - Options> Configuration> Session> Connection Type> View Connection Server
- Show Advanced Options> Pool Name to Select> POOL Name(Entitled Pool Name)
Note:
- Above methods allow accessing ONLY one pool.
- Users will not have a choice to select multiple pools, though they are entitled.
- Users will directly login into their entitled pool.
- Multiple Pools CANNOT be specified within above settings.
- If users are generally only entitled to one pool, the option "Auto Launch If Only One Pool"
