HP Anyware online licensing registration system is experiencing intermittent errors and may be slow to respond.

 

Products impacted include:

 

  1. HP Anyware
  2. HP Anyware Manager
  3. HP Anyware Management Console (MC)

 

Products NOT impacted include:

 

  1. Zero Clients that are connected to VMWare Horizon or Amazon WorkSpaces
  2. Remote Workstation Cards
  3. APEX Cards

 

Recommended Workarounds

 

  1. HP Anyware deployments (using Cloud Licensing)
    • If the license registration fails, wait 30 seconds and retry.  Customers are reporting that the registration will work after 2 or 3 tries.

  2. HP Anyware deployments (using a local license server)
    • If the activation command fails, wait 30 seconds and retry. If retry fails, use the offline mechanism as described here.
  3. Management Console Deployment
    • IF the license activation fails, wait 30 seconds and retry.  Customers are reporting that the registration will work after 2 or 3 tries. If retry fails, use the offline mechanism as described here.
