PCoIP MAC Agent: Avid Media Composer crashing during PCoIP session

PROBLEM

When connecting to a macOS agent machine, Avid Media Composer crashes if the agent has local monitors attached.

CAUSES & WORKAROUND

 

This issue affects Mac Pro, iMac and Mac mini

To resolve, remove the local monitor(s) from the agent then re-launch Avid Media Composer. 

This workaround will not work on iMac as it has a built in monitor. If there are extra monitor(s) connected, kindly remove them and try re-launching the Avid Media Composer application.

Please use Mac Pro and Mac mini for now when working on Avid Media Composer in a PCoIP session.
We are currently working with Avid to resolve the issue.
