Is it possible to configure the PCoIP Zero Client or PCoIP Remote Workstation Card device name via the hostname option on my DHCP server?

Answer:

No you cannot name devices via DHCP, but you can pass your hostname from your PCoIP device to the DHCP server.

PCoIP Zero Clients or PCoIP Remote Workstation Cards will pass DHCP options 12 (hostname) and option 15 (domain name) to the DHCP server.

By default the hostname of a zero client is pcoip-portal-<MAC>, and pcoip-host-<MAC> for a PCoIP host card. The hostname can be configured from the OSD (On-Screen-Display)  by browsing to Options>Configuration>Label (shown below) or via the AWI by browsing to Configuration>Label.
