On a PCoIP Zero Client, username caching is set in the advanced options and can be disabled from the OSD Screen, the Administrative Web Interface (AWI), or the PCoIP Management Console.

From the OSD Screen:

  • Under Options, select Configuration
  • In the Configuration window, select the Session tab
  • If the Connection Type is set to View Connection Server, select Advanced (note you may require a password to modify any OSD settings)
  • From the Advanced screen, uncheck Remember Username click OK the click Apply

From the AWI:

  • Log in to the AWI (To access the web interface, browse to the IP address of the zero client from a browser and log in.)
  • Under the Configuration tab, select Session
  • Under Session, select Show Advanced Options
  • Under Show Advanced Options, uncheck Remember Username and hit Apply

From the PCoIP Management Console 1:

  • From the PCoIP Management Console web interface, select Profiles
  • From the desired Profile, select Set Properties
  • Under Session Configuration, select Edit Properties
  • If the Session Connection Type is not set, then you will have to enable it as Login Username Caching is only available when logging into a View Connection Server
  • Once you enable the Session Connection Type to one of the View Connection Server options, you will be able to set Enable Login Username Caching to False
  • You can apply the profile to a device if it is a member of a Group and the Profile is associated to the Group

From the PCoIP Management Console 2.x or 3.x:

  • From the PCoIP Management Console web interface, Navigate to Profiles tab
  • From the desired Profile, select Edit.
  • Under Session Configuration, select Advanced.
  • If the Session Connection Type is not set, then you will have to enable it as Remember Username is only available when logging into a View Connection Server or PCoIP Connection Manager
  • Once you enable the Session Connection Type to View Connection Server or PCoIP Connection Manager, you will be able to set Remember Username to Disabled.
  • You can apply the profile to a device if it is a member of a Group and the Profile is associated to the Group
