PCoIP agents can be configured to optimize the PCoIP performance and behavior and these configurations can be done through the local group policy editor. The configurable variables are imported automatically on the local machine with the agent installer but if you need to install the variables on the domain controller, please follow  import GPO template file. The settings on the Agent are configured for the general purpose and you can configure it according to your local network conditions. To configure the PCoIP Agent, follow the instructions for your OS:

Performance Settings

In order to optimize the performance, you can configure the following variables.

  • Maximum PCoIP session bandwidth
  • PCoIP Session bandwidth floor
  • PCoIP Image Quality Levels
  • Build-to-lossless
  • PCoIP Ultra

USB and Audio Settings

You can enable or disable the USB in PCoIP session or you can also restrict some USB devices by adding USB device rules. Similarly audio can be disabled or enabled in the session or audio bandwidth can also be configured.

  • PCoIP USB allowed and unallowed device rules
  • Enable/disable audio in PCoIP session 
  • Enable/disable USB in PCoIP session
  • PCoIP session audio bandwidth limit

Security Settings

You can controls the cryptographic cipher suites and encryption ciphers used by PCoIP endpoints and can also configure the certificate settings on the Agent by the following variables:

  • PCoIP Security Certificate Settings
  • PCoIP Security Settings

Session and License Server Settings

You can configure the license server settings and other session settings from the following variables

  • PCoIP event log verbosity
  • Clipboard Redirection
  • Connection Address
  • License Server URL
