Cause

This error message is produced by the Azure Application Gateway when there is an error communicating to the connection server component of the HP Anyware Connector

Resolution

Ensure the connection server for the HP Anyware Connector is powered on. It is called conn-srvrX where X is the number of the corresponding HP Anyware Connector resource group.

If the virtual machine is powered on, try restarting the virtual machine from the Azure Portal.

The HP Anyware Manager administrator guide provides instructions on how to RDP to the connection server if investigation on the virtual machine is required.

Note: RDP access is only available from the internal Azure network or over a VPN.

Note: The connection server does not store data locally. If the connection server is considered 'broken' it can be replaced by deploying a new HP Anyware Connector.
