Usually this is not an issue. However, if a virtual channel created by a third party is not properly created, it can cause unpredictable results with a PCoIP session or the displayed output. This should be considered as a possible source of an identified problem if the logs show the use of virtual channels, and no other issues have been identified.

Symptoms that have been attributed to improperly created virtual channels include the following:

  • Session Disconnects
  • Black Screens
  • PCoIP sessions cannot be created

Disable the virtual channel(s) and see if the symptoms disappear. If the symptoms disappear, notify the third party vendor who's product creates the virtual channel.
