The PCoIP Management Console 1.x & 2.x cannot manage PCoIP devices that are external to the corporate network or behind a NAT over the WAN. But the PCoIP Management Console 1.x & 2.x can manage devices that are accessible over a routable network, so if the WAN connection is a private WAN or VLAN then you are able to manage the PCoIP devices over the WAN.

With the introduction of the PCoIP Management Console 3.0, HP Anyware added the ability to manage PCoIP endpoints external to the corporate network or behind a NAT over the WAN. Administrators can control and manage PCoIP Zero Clients for at-home workers in the same way they do for those in the office, without the expense of a VPN. PCoIP Zero clients can be remotely placed and will receive profile updates and firmware updates provided the latency to the PCoIP Zero Client is within 100ms. Information on deploying this configuration is available in the PCoIP Management Console administrators' guide.
