Important Notes

  • Remote Workstation Card Software for Linux is used to provide additional features when a Remote Workstation Card is installed in a host PC/workstation using a Linux 64-bit operating system.
  • Remote Workstation Card Software should not be installed while in a PCoIP session with the host.

  • Source code is provided to allow customers to try to incorporate the Remote Workstation Card Software into their particular Linux distributions.

Remote Workstation Card Software 20.01.0 for Linux GA is optional for PC's and workstations that are being remoted using PCoIP Remote Workstation Cards. This release of PCoIP Host Software for Linux provides compatibility with PCoIP Zero Clients running firmware 20.01 connecting to PCoIP Remote Workstation Card running firmware 20.01. This article provides a summary of key feature additions, compatibility notes, and known issues for this host software release.

4K Display Support

Adds support for 4K monitors.

Versioning Number Change

Remote Workstation Card Software is on a new numbering scheme, where the first number is the release date year, and the second number is the release date month, and the third number is the number of maintenance releases.

  • Source code is provided to allow customers to try to incorporate the PCoIP Host Software into their particular Linux distributions.
