It includes the following:

  • Bug fixes and security updates.

Previous release information:

Release 24.03.3 of the Trusted Zero Client includes the following:

Added network manager logs to support bundles

Network manager logs are now included in Trusted Zero Client support bundles.

Added support for AMD R2000 chipset

This release introduces support for the AMD R2000 chipset.

VMware protocols can now be changed via the Agent

Previously, setting the default protocol between Blast and PCoIP from a VMware Agent did not change the protocol used by the Trusted Zero Client. This has been fixed.

USB devices are now automatically forwarded to VMWare desktops

When plugging in a USB device while in a VMware session, the device is now automatically connected to the remote desktop.

Added product and board serial to endpoint static properties

properties/static/serialNumber is now deprecated. Instead, properties/static/productSerialNumber and properties/static/boardSerialNumber can now be used to obtain more specific serial information for Trusted Zero Clients.

Operational certificate renewal safety

Previously, when setting the renewBefore to a value greater than the lifetime of the operational certificate, the Trusted Zero Client would continually renew the op cert making the endpoint appear to be unable to connect to the Trust Center. A safety has been put in place to ensure that if invalid renewal values are set, the Trust Agent will ignore and use a reasonable default.

Release 24.03.0 of the Trusted Zero Client includes the following:

Support for VMware Horizon View connections using the Blast protocol

Trusted Zero Client devices can now connect to VMware Horizon hosts using the Blast protocol. No configuration is necessary; connecting to a VMware Horizon host will select the appropriate protocol automatically.

Support for VMware Horizon Smart Card Authentication (CAC/PIV)

Trusted Zero Client devices can now authenticate to VMware Horizon hosts using Smart Cards. The following cards and readers have been tested:

  • Identiv SCR3310
  • PIVKey C910

Other CAC/PIV cards are expected to work, but have not been tested.

Static IP Support

You can now configure a Trusted Zero Client's IPv4 and IPv6 settings via the Trusted Zero Client's interface, or by pushing from the Anyware Trust Center. For more information, see Settings > Network > Network Information.

Support for 802.1x

With this release, you can now manually provision Trusted Zero Client devices with certificates for networks which require 802.1x authentication. The method used to do this depends on your Endpoint Management System (EMS); refer to your manufacturer's documentation for more information.

Resolved Issues

DNS Servers fields are no longer disabled based on the Auto DNS Servers toggle

24.03.4
217140

The status of the Auto DNS Server toggle on the Edit Network Settings page will no longer affect the 'disable' status for the DNS Server fields. This means that DNS servers can now be changed regardless of the status of the Auto DNS toggle.

Trusted Zero Client Network Configuration changes now work as expected

24.03.4
216421

Previously, networking configuration changes (including DNS servers) might appear to save, but would not be reflected in the current network status.

Network configuration updates now work as expected both from the local UI as well as from the Trust Center.

Connected and Not Connected are now internationalized

24.03.3
212769

On the Network Settings page, the indicator showing if network interfaces are Connected or Not is not translated to all supported languages.

Known Issues

Collaboration works differently on Trusted Zero Client than on Desktop Client

196861

The Collaboration feature requires that a user install an Anyware Client on their Agent in order to join a collaboration session.
