Previous release information:
Release 23.12 of the Trusted Zero Client includes the following:
Sound Device Selection
You can now view your available audio devices, and change the input or output device you want to use. See Sound Device Selection for more information.
Display Configuration
You can now view your available displays, set each display's resolution and orientation, configure the monitor layout, and choose which monitor acts as the desktop's primary display. See Display Configuration for more information.
Longer connection timeout when connecting to Brokers
When trying to obtain a certificate, on some networks with poor DNS performance, the Trusted Zero Client would timeout attempting to validate the server certificate, confusingly showing an invalid certificate error. The timeout has been increased from 5 to 10 seconds to support networks where, at times, DNS can experience heavy load.
Setting certificates no longer causes blank screen on Trusted Zero Client
Previously, when settings certificates from the Trust Center, the Trusted Zero Client's screen would blank and require a restart to resolve. The screen no longer blanks.
Restart notifications only show when an Update is pending
Previously, after an update is installed to a Trusted Zero Client, on the first reboot, the notification at the top of the screen indicating that an update is pending and to restart the device is still displayed. This notification is no longer displayed.
Timezones were not being displayed correct when set by a Trust Center
Previously, when setting a desired property (enforced value) from a Trust Center, the timezone was not being set properly on the Trusted Zero Client. Now timezones are properly enforced.
After a factory reset, Trust Center enforced properties are displayed correctly in the UI
Previously, after a factory reset, the Trust Center desired properties (enforced values) would appear to be editable on the Trusted Zero Client Settings UI - even though they are not. The Settings UI is now correctly showing these fields as disabled.
Federated Auth windows handle close events properly
Previously, when connecting to a desktop or broker that uses OAuth for authentication, if the user closes the popup window before the login page finishes loading, the connect button would remain in a loading state, as though the connection is still being established. This has been resolved - connect buttons will return to their normal, clickable state.
Removed lock icons from Connect page
Due to security considerations, lock icons were removed from the initial Connect page. Warnings or errors are still shown when connecting, along with the https status indicating green, yellow or red while authenticating with a session.
Collaboration works differently on TZC than on Desktop Client
The Collaboration feature requires that a user install an Anyware Client on their Agent in order to join a collaboration session.
