RPM dependency files are required for specific deployments of Management Console using the RPM build. These files ensure a successful and secure installation or upgrade of Management Console in either or both of the following environments—with an internet connection or without an internet connection (dark site). Dependency files need to be installed before the installation or upgrade of Management Console and only need to be installed once. If you have installed a dependency and are upgrading from that installation, you will not have to install the dependency again. Installation and upgrade steps for using the dependency files are included in the Management Console Administrators' Guide.
